Immune Shots

The past month has been hard both mentally, emotionally and physically for all of us.

It’s so important that we nourish our bodies at this time with simple & wholesome ingredients that will help our bodies heal naturally.


When we are stressed, it takes a toll on our immunity & we need our immune system to be as strong as possible right now. 


This little shot is powerful and mighty & can be taken once a day or a few times a day as you feel it’s needed. 


With ingredients like lemon, ginger, turmeric, oregano oil + raw honey; it is bound to keep our immune systems strong and help fight off infections. 

If you can get your hands-on fresh ingredients, awesome! If you’re having trouble, don’t worry as you can always use dried herbs and spices. If you can’t find a certain ingredient, or you don’t have it on hand, just omit it and proceed with all other ingredients! 

Just an FYI that this shot is super potent, and it is always a good idea to have some sort of liquid beside you to drink after taking! 


Ingredients:

1 lemon juiced 

1 piece of fresh ginger or 1 tbsp of juiced ginger 

1 piece of fresh turmeric or 1 tbsp of juiced turmeric (you can also use organic dried turmeric, 2 tsp.)

2 tsp. oregano oil

1 tbsp raw honey


Directions:

In a small saucepan, add lemon, ginger + turmeric -  heat on low

Let simmer for approximately 10 minutes

Turn heat off & let cool completely

Add oregano oil + raw honey & mix to combine 

Once the mixture is completely cooled, pour into shot glasses (this should make enough for 2 shots) & take it all at once - just like you would with your ACV shots!

My advice would be to make a few batches at once and keep them in your fridge. If you are using freshly squeezed ginger + turmeric, you will want to consume them within 3-5 days!
